This notice lists the cookies and local storage (localStorage) entries used on the Joryea site and their purposes. The Platform follows a minimisation principle: only a small set of entries strictly necessary for site functionality is used, and no advertising or cross-site tracking networks are integrated.
1. Entries we use
- joryea.token (local storage): buyer session token, used to keep you signed in and to authorise requests such as inquiries. Clearing it signs you out.
- joryea.email (local storage): your masked email (e.g. j***@example.com), used solely to display the signed-in state.
- joryea.preferredCurrency (local storage): your selected display currency for price conversion.
- NEXT_LOCALE (cookie): your selected language, used to route you to the right locale on your next visit.
2. What we do not use
- No third-party advertising or behavioural analytics cookies;
- No cross-site tracking or selling of user profiles;
- No payment credentials or plaintext passwords stored in cookies or local storage.
3. How to manage them
All entries above can be cleared through your browser settings. Clearing language/currency preferences only affects display convenience; clearing the session token requires you to sign in again. Declining functional cookies/local storage does not affect anonymous browsing of listings, but sign-in, inquiries and currency memory will be unavailable.
